Mommy time

Mommy really likes it when I snuggle with her like this, but it doesn't happen very often. When I'm awake, I'm too wiggly to snuggle, so it is only when I am falling asleep that I get snuggly.

Daddy Time

This was Daddy's first time feeding me. I am still trying to get the hang of eating out of that plastic thing (it's not as good as Mommy), but it was neat that I got special time with Daddy.

Adorable

Mommy and Grandma were taking all kinds of pictures of me and these are just a few of them. Mommy really likes the close-up picture, but I think it makes my cheeks look a little chubby. (I'm really not very chubby, at least not yet. Daddy says I am starting to fill out my skin though, so I guess that is a good thing.)

Fingers

I know in this picture I've got my little hand wrapped around Grandpa's thumb, but really, Grandpa is wrapped around my little finger. Actually, I think he is wrapped around all of my little fingers!!

Our First Family Picture

Here are a couple additional pictures of me sleeping and of course our first family picture!

As you can see I sleep from time to time, and I always sleep with one hand near my face. Here I am actually laying on my left side, which was a first because I had been favoring the right.


What an adorable picture of me resting in my daddy's arms, don't everyone freak out, I am not sleeping in the bed with them, this picture is a little bit staged, so much in fact daddy is not really sleeping (notice the smile on his face)!!!



Below is our first family picture, taken at the beach after Uncle Philip's wedding. No wonder I am such a good looking baby, look at how good looking my parents are!!

Carolina Beaches

Wow, what an exciting time in this life, I recently went to the beach (Morehead City) to be exact. Daddy and Mommy really appreciate the fact that I love to ride in cars, I slept almost the entire way there and back (stopping to feed of course, who could forget that!!)

While there my Uncle Philip got married to Aunt Lindsey, the whole family was there and at times I almost stole the show. Who knew there was a wedding taking place, everyone was looking at me!! Sorry Uncle Philip that I screamed through the entire rehersal dinner.

Daddy and Mommy thought that I should be "broken in" North Carolina style by dipping my toes into the ocean. As you can see from the pictures, Daddy was putting sand on my toes and mommy held me as the waves crashed upon the shoreline.

Now I am back at home, and life is great. I sleep in 3 hour sections at night. Feeding must be going well. Today I went to the doctor and I weighed 6lbs 11 ounces which is above my birth weight of 6lb 8 ounces and I have grown to almost 20 inches long.

My First Bath

Today, daddy gave me my first bath. I wasn't all that excited about it, but he and mommy thought I needed one, so I will be fresh and clean for my doctor's appointment this afternoon.

She is such a sweet girl. She usually lets mommy and daddy get about 2 hours of sleep at a time.

I'm here!!!

Ahh I am finally here, gosh it sure looks like a big world. So I was dropped on my mother's belly sometime around 6:41p.m, but as you can tell dad didn't get the picture of the clock until 6:42, its ok Dad!! So here I lay about to freeze as they tell me how much I weigh, hey lady choose your words wisely when telling me how much I weigh, and you should probably follow with how beautiful I am just for good measure. I say not bad for being 13 days early, oh I almost forgot, I am a bit short in stature at the moment, but looking at my parents I feel sure I will make up for that in the future. Of couse you knew that I would come into this world naked but did they really have to show you, I guess, here I am for all to see!!! Finally oh the comfort of being wrapped up in mommy's arms. Is it just me or does she look a little tired? Hey is it feeding time yet, I am hungry after all that work!!
