Can you believe I'm 38 weeks!

That means I've been outside as long as I was inside! (I was two weeks early, remember, just like Mommy wanted!)

As you can see, my hair still isn't getting very long. I don't think that Mommy will be putting a bow in my hair for Easter!

But I'm still awful cute!

Me and the stool

Here I am, hiding under one of the stools in the kitchen, all smiling and happy, but just a few days ago, I wasn't so happy under the stool.

Here I am, stuck and crying, and Mommy goes and gets the camera to take a few pictures before she helps me. I'm holding on for my life, and Mommy is laughing at me.

Note from Mommy: Savannah has done this a few times before and this is the first time I've gotten a picture of it. I've never seen her get into this position, but in the past her feet are on the floor and her butt has been in the air. This time, she has her butt down, but is still stuck!

Yes, I have learned better ways to play with the stools, so that I don't end up like that again.

Look what I can do now...

Now I'm mobile in a whole new way. I've actually been doing this for more than a week, but Mommy could never get a video, because as soon as I saw the camera, I'd stop and crawl over to her!

I'm a mermaid!

Mommy and I came down to wake Daddy up after I had breakfast this morning and I got to snuggle in bed with him for a few minutes. Then I tried to crawl to Mommy on the other side of the bed, but I couldn't get very far.

Its hard to crawl when both legs are in the same side of the pj's. Mommy said I looked like a mermaid, so she had to take a picture. (This actually happens a lot when Mommy is changing me, because I am so wiggly, I often end up with both legs in one side!)

Having fun with Daddy!

Yes, I think this is fun, most of the time!!!

Finally!

I finally figured out how to stand up in my play yard! I can see what Mommy is doing in the kitchen so much better this way.

And I've discovered a fun to game...throw things out of the play yard, and then watch Mommy and Daddy pick them up! (I started small, with just a sock, but I'm thinking there are a lot of things in here that I can throw!)

Another fun place to play!

I have discovered that my closet is a really fun place to play! I don't have doors, just these great curtains, and they are half the reason it is so fun to play in the closet, because I can hide behind the curtains, but not get trapped inside. (I've gotten trapped in the bathroom a few times when I closed the door and than couldn't get it back open, and I had to scream and holler for Mommy to come rescue me, which of course she did, laughing at me and my silliness.)

A few times I have crawled out, trying to bulldoze my way through the curtain, but that doesn't seem to work...it just gets caught on my head and I can't see where I'm going. Mommy hasn't been able to get a picture of that, because she has been laughing too hard. (Mommy and Daddy call me a bulldozer sometimes. They say it is because I don't ever go around things, except Lily, I just go right over them, or push them in front of me. I do this a lot with me toys, and I really like to go up and over Mommy and Daddy's legs!)

Peek-a-boo...

I see you!

Here I am!

36 weeks!

So I'm growing bigger every day. I'm getting to be a very fast crawler and can almost keep up with Mommy as she walks around the house. Mommy says that it is getting harder to take pictures of me in the chair, because I don't sit still. Of course I don't sit still. I'm hardly ever still. Even when I'm sleeping, I'm not still. Being still isn't any fun, its fun to move, and I do, all day long!

Oh what crazy weather we're having

Today the weather was great. So great that Mommy and Daddy invited Trip, Andrea, and Ava to come have a picnic with us after church. It hard to believe that we had all that snow on Monday, and Mommy made me a snowman just a few days ago, and today we enjoyed eating lunch outside in shorts and got a little Vitamin D (not too much though, Ava and I stayed under the big umbrella most of the time.) Then we went inside to play for a while.

Ava and I were trying to play tug-of-war, but our parents were trying to get us to share.

We worked it out just fine.

Aren't I cute?

Yes, my hair is getting thicker, and it is definitely dark, but it isn't growing longer. Mommy gets annoyed when we go out and people think I'm a boy because I don't have long hair, even when I'm wearing purple!

The green monster!

Last night for dinner, I had peas. Can you tell? The worst part was, Mommy and Daddy didn't bother to wash my face until I got into the bathtub a little while later!

Virginia Snowman!

Since we got so much snow the other day, and it was sticking around longer than anyone thought it would, Mommy decided to make me a Virginia snowman. He doesn't have too many features, because Mommy was working on him while I took a nap and Lily kept taking bites out of my poor snowman, and stealing his arms. Mommy tried putting Lily up in the house, but she just barked and barked. Luckily, I was getting a good nap and was sleeping very hard and never even heard Lily!

And yes, it really was warm enough for me to be out in the clothes I have on. The snow just didn't melt very quickly in the shade!

Crawling

I've been mobile for a few weeks now, but Mommy finally got it on video. Look out world, here I come! Oh, and be impressed!

Yes, I make that noise when I crawl. Mommy thinks its a good thing, because then she knows where I am!

Snow day in Virginia

So I woke up this morning to a beautiful winter wonderland, in Virginia, in March. Mommy and I were expecting snow like this when we were in the Midwest, not at home! It is really pretty though! This is my first really big snowfall...somewhere in the neighborhood of 6-7 inches!

That's Lily in the middle of the picture. Mommy said that Lily hasn't even seen this much snow before! She had a lot of fun playing it. Unfortunately, it was a little too cold and windy for Mommy to let me play with her.

Today was a great day for a snow day, because Daddy already had the day off. What was even better was there was no school, so we went to Ava's house to play for a little while. I was showing off my crawling skills, and everyone was appropriately impressed.

Hanging out with Daddy!

Sunday Paper

So I have a new hobby, that I enjoy doing with Daddy...reading the Sunday paper! Daddy wasn't too thrilled, because he hadn't read that section yet, and was afraid of what it would look like when I was done with it. Nothing to fear, I just tried to open it, but then got annoyed and moved on to something else. I'll save reading the paper for when I can actually read!
